Life as a soldier


Sorry guys it has been a long time since I last blog. I need to do serve the country as a soldier and work for my allowance during my break. Here is a small MTV by Eminem call Toy Soldier. Hope you all enjoy it and don’t follow the Eminem way.

It is very interesting to be a soldier for the Singapore Arm Forces. Here at my BMT phase I got to learn a lot of things and people around me. I get to be along with people that I never thought I can communicate that well.

My company is under a very special leader. He is a well respected and understanding person who will fight for his own people. People like us will serve him with great honor.
I am not sure what bring my platoon together. There many differences between each and every one of us. To pull people like us together is to only do things to go through thick and thin with one another.

I have just been through my field camp. I have to say is the most unbearable of all outfield camps I have been so far. They don’t call the army for nothing. I remember once my commander says this once “Nobody says it’s going to be easy in the army but if you suck it up, it can be done”. This words really motivated for some of us, I not sure about the rest.

Surprisingly when you are in the outfield when things got tough, the only things you concern are the person on your right and left. If they were to fall, you too will fall.

People say when people have been though the army they will become a man. I will wait and see my own development to be a better person when I out of the army.

Fight Club in SG?

recently, on the new paper we have student whacking with each other and videos are taken and posted on the U tube. incredible that such things happen in singapore, considering how safe a country we are. the other report recently is the a man a manager got kill in QQ but this time i mange to find a video click of a bouncer killed in MOS and also some related fight in clubbing areas.. be sure that death is around the corner.
